Global Haircare Brand Schwarzkopf Professional, recently recorded the fastest growth in the haircare category in the country as per the Kline Salon Hair Care 2022: India Market Analysis and Opportunities. The brand rose from its number three position and surged ahead to secure the second position in the haircare category.

Earlier at number three, the brand recently surged ahead to secure the second position in the category. The jump in growth comes from a sustained and consistent growth path over five years. This growth also led to the highest 5-year CAGR, thus establishing Schwarzkopf Professional’s leadership among the top hair care brands.
Schwarzkopf Professional recorded strong growth, outperforming the other players in the market; Capturing a 29% share in the styling category. The brand’s sustained growth translated to gaining +100bps in share value. It recorded an overall growth of 65% as Schwarzkopf Professional grew 1.5 times faster than the market. The success was spurred by the premium colour, haircare segment and cutting-edge innovations in styling and texture. The brand achieved sustained growth in haircare, confirming its strong presence in the country.
