Swiss Beauty makes a debut in UAE through Modist Global, a Dubai-based cross-border D2C enablement company. This marks the brand’s entry into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, beginning with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a beauty market valued at USD 10 billion.

The UAE rollout will take place within 21 days, significantly faster than the traditional multi-month process for international retail expansion. Modist Global will support Swiss Beauty with compliance, logistics, distribution, and market operations. This model allows brands to reduce setup costs by up to 40% while retaining full control over pricing, product assortment, and consumer experience.

The move aligns with the growing momentum of Indian D2C and retail brands expanding beyond domestic borders using technology-driven supply chain solutions.

Swiss Beauty Positioning and product portfolio

Swiss Beauty is currently one of the top players in India’s USD 6.9 billion cosmetics industry. The brand offers over 400 SKUs, covering makeup, skincare, and beauty tools. Its positioning focuses on delivering trend-led beauty products at accessible price points.

For the UAE market, Swiss Beauty will introduce a curated range including:

  • HD Matte Lipsticks
  • Ultra Blush Palette
  • Liquid Eyeshadows

These products will be available on leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Noon, as well as select offline retail stores and pharmacies.

Targeting a strong South Asian consumer base

Nearly 70% of the UAE’s 12 million residents are part of the South Asian diaspora. This demographic is familiar with Indian beauty products and shows strong purchasing power. Swiss Beauty aims to leverage this consumer alignment to build brand familiarity and accelerate growth in the region.
