With their new podcast, ‘Let’s Get Ugly’, the Daswaney sisters have taken on a new mission. They are all set to debunk myths and challenge the existing societal beauty norms. They aim to do so by sharing their personal experiences and understandings from their careers as industry experts. Each episode from the podcast delves into a wide variety of topics. These range from Botox confessions to diversity and inclusion; and, there are no filters or sugar-coating involved.
The first episode of the podcast is already live. It takes us through the journey of Trishna and Disha in the beauty world. In this episode, they talk about some funny and relatable anecdotes from their teenage years. Also, they discuss the fashion faux pas that became the inspiration for the podcast’s name.
“Beauty is so much more than a flawless Instagram selfie, and we’re here to peel back the curtain and give people the real deal,” says Trishna. “We’ve had our share of awkward beauty moments, and we want to show people it’s okay to laugh about them while learning a thing or two along the way,” says Disha Daswaney.
