The hair longevity space continues to grow, and the newest name entering the category is TMPL8, a brand unveiled by former Aveda global creative director Shivangi Van Gogh. The line takes a distinctive approach, blending the principles of Ayurveda with modern biotechnology to support long-term hair health at a cellular level, rather than offering a quick cosmetic fix.
TMPL8’s debut collection centers on a four-product system designed to work together as a complete regimen. It includes a $175 scalp serum, a $67 shampoo, a $68 conditioner, and a $140 mask, positioning the brand firmly within the premium, prestige tier of the hair care market.
To bring the brand to life, Van Gogh says she has raised more than $3.2 million in funding. Looking ahead, TMPL8 has set ambitious growth targets: the brand is aiming for roughly $28 million in sales by the end of 2026, with longer-term projections of $80 million to $100 million in annual sales within the next five to seven years.
Speaking about the philosophy behind the brand, Van Gogh explains, “TMPL8 was created to protect your long-term hair health through cellular-level care.” Her comments underscore the brand’s broader positioning not just as another hair care line, but as a science-backed approach to preserving hair health over time, drawing on both ancient wellness traditions and contemporary innovation.
