This Pride Month, SOCIAL café-bar brings back its flagship celebration Satrangi Mela. It’s a queer-forward festival that transforms SOCIAL outposts into vibrant, inclusive spaces across nine cities.

Collaborating with MAC Cosmetics

Adding extra sparkle to this year’s edition is a meaningful partnership with MAC Cosmetics. The global beauty brand holds a rich legacy of LGBTQIA+ advocacy. Famous for championing self-expression and diversity, M·A·C joins the Satrangi trail with exclusive makeup masterclasses in select cities. The brand will be spotlighting artistry as well as a message of inclusion and beauty beyond boundaries. It’s a powerful coming-together of two forces that believe in creating safe, joyful, expressive spaces for the community.

With MAC’s creative energy adding a beauty-forward edge to this celebration, Satrangi Mela 2025 becomes more than a Pride moment—it becomes a movement where identity, artistry, and authenticity take centre stage.

Beyond the festivities, SOCIAL’s commitment to queer empowerment is on year-round as it opens its doors to diverse voices through events, art, and collaboration.

Upcoming schedule:

In 2025, Satrangi Mela arrives in Chandigarh, Dehradun, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kolkata. It will be highlighting queer talent through high-energy drag shows, eclectic flea markets, underground music, and intimate mixers.

The schedule for the masterclasses by MAC Cosmetics is as follows:

  • 20th July – Saket SOCIAL, Delhi – National Artist Leiya Phinao Ningshen
  • 27th July – Park Street SOCIAL, Kolkata – MAC Artist Danielle Lewis
