In a conversation with Vidhi Arya from Professional Beauty India, Vurve Salon shares a few of their Christmas nail art. Use these to add an extra cheer to the festivities of your clients.

Vurve Salon says it sees Christmas nail art as more than a seasonal trend. It’s a thoughtful extension of personal style and celebration. This Christmas, the salon’s nail designs draw inspiration from winter botanicals, festive motifs, and classic holiday colours. These can be seen in delicate hand-painted florals, snowflake accents, holly details, and playful Christmas icons across the designs.

The focus is on balance. Soft whites paired with muted greens and reds for those who prefer understated elegance, alongside bolder, cheerful designs that capture the joy and whimsy of the season. Each set is meticulously crafted, using advanced gel techniques and precision detailing to ensure longevity without compromising on finesse.

These Christmas nails are designed to complement the mood of the holidays. They are easy to wear, visually striking, and perfect for everything from intimate gatherings to celebratory photographs. Vurve Salon says that for them, Christmas nail art is about creating small moments of joy through craftsmanship, creativity, and self-care, adding a polished, festive finish to the way one steps into the season.

The Winter Garden

My Vision: Vurve Salon wanted to break the rules a bit here. Not everyone wants red and green! This look is for the clients who loves art and wants something fresh. They saw the nail as a tiny piece of paper and inspired by Pantone 2026 for white. They added the garden to give colourful, sketchy, and bright vibe.

My Process:

The Canvas: The process started with a stark, crisp white base. It has to be perfect because any mistake shows up on white.

The Sketch: With the thinnest liner brush, basically just a few bristles, hand-sketch the black outlines of the leaves and the geometric snowflake. It feels like drawing with a fine-tip pen.

The Colour: The leaves have washes of neon pink, mint, and yellow. It’s almost like water-colour paint, to keep it soft and playful.

The Snow-Kissed Classic

The Vision: This is the connected of Holiday season. The vision is clean, nostalgic, and very Christmas-y. It is perfect for the client who loves the classic Christmas aesthetics.

The Process:

Base: Alternate between a solid white and a rich, pillar-box red base. Achieving a streak-free white base is technically challenging and shows mastery of application.

The Snowflake: On the accent nails, use a fine detailing brush to paint the snowflake. Start from the center point, draw the main axes first. Add the intricate “V” shapes and dots to build the crystal structure.

The Holly: For the holly berry accents, use a dotting tool to create perfect red circles. Then use a tiny brush to flick in the green leaves.

Finish: Finish with a glossy top coat to give that “candy cane” shine. It also smoothens out the texture of the nail art.
