The Ministry of Ayush has launched a new digital initiative — a Weekly Yoga Podcast. Produced by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), the podcast aims to bring the timeless wisdom of yoga to every home.

The new weekly yoga podcast by the Ministry of Ayush is a new step towards the holistic wellness of Indians. It blends ancient practices with modern lifestyles, making yoga more relatable and accessible.

A podcast for all ages

The podcast’s first episode opens the door to a world of mindful living. It features a vibrant discussion on yoga’s essence and growing global influence. Once rooted in Indian tradition, yoga is now a worldwide movement for health, harmony, and balance.

Inspired by PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’

The launch follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message during the 120th episode of Mann Ki Baat on March 30. He highlighted the importance of International Yoga Day 2025 and its theme:
“Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”

This theme reflects yoga’s role in promoting physical, mental, and environmental well-being. It also aligns with India’s global vision of unity and sustainability.

Special 10th anniversary of International Yoga Day

2025 marks 10 years of the International Day of Yoga. To celebrate this milestone, the Ministry of Ayush has announced 10 Signature Events:

  4. Yoga Samavesh
  5. Yoga Prabhav
  6. Yoga Connect
  7. Harit Yoga
  8. Yoga Unplugged
  9. Yoga Mahakumbh

Each event offers a unique way to engage with yoga and brings the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health” to life in practical ways.
