Showcasing their brand-new collection, “Blitz Kids,” Mahogany models transported the audience back to the vibrant and creative atmosphere of the Blitz Club. The collection is a celebration of the late 70s and early 80s post-punk scene. It’s inspired by icons including the legendary Debbie Harry. Mahogany’s team of experts includes Colin Greany, Neil Atkinson, Josh Carron, Tara Hunter, and Oliver Prestage. The team also showcased their incredible talents through live haircut demonstrations on stage.
Colin demonstrated a round layering technique, creating a head-hugging undercut with a seamless disconnection. Meanwhile Josh showcased prelightened metallic off silver blonde with Blondie-esque layering and innovative combinations of bright yellow and dark black.

Tara also presented a unique technique with inky purple and mauve transitioning into blue, creating a striking and unique look. Meanwhile Neil’s approach was to create a disconnected look that balanced technical precision with an element of movement, ensuring suitability for the client.

Antony emphasised the importance of blending commercial success with creative success, allowing stylists to use these techniques in the salon, whether working on bobs or long hair.

Anthony also shared insights into the inspiration behind the collection, emphasising the creative energy of the late 70s and early 80s. The team’s vision came full circle, celebrating individuality and self-expression, much like the iconic Blitz Club.
The grand finale featured trademark Mahogany crops and bobs, showcasing the brand’s commitment to its classic training foundation. Moreover, the colour palette for the collection ranged from icy blonde and shimmering metallic pink to steel grey and inky black outlines. Thus creating a diverse and stunning visual impact.
