Eid makeup that you can try this year

The joyous celebrations of Eid that mark the culmination of Ramadan are almost here. As families get together and prepare in full swing, it’s time to pull out a mesmerising outfit and pair it with flawless makeup and impeccable hair. Vidhi Arya from Professional Beauty has curated a list of Eid makeup looks you can try this year.

Eid is the time for getting together with loved ones for feasts and celebrations. With elaborate attires, intricate henna, and an eternal glow of happiness, don’t let your makeup and hair take a backseat. Here are a few inspirations for you to try.

The Glitter of Gold

Add an extra sheen to your outfits with golden hues of Eid makeup. Start by applying a golden, metallic eyeshadow and add depth with a smoked eyeliner. Complete the look with heavily kohled eyes and glossy lips. Since this look requires bold eyes, keep in mind to keep the look well-balanced with a lip shade that’s neutral and not too bold. And, don’t forget to highlight your high points for the festive sheen.

The Minimalistic Beauty

This Aditi Rao Hydari-inspired makeup is perfect for anyone not too keen on heavy makeup. Start by applying a warm neutral eyeshadow and top it up with ample mascara to add definition to the eyes.  You can also add a little shimmer in the inner corner of your eyes to make them pop. Use cream-based blush to keep the look fresh and dewy. Complete and instantly elevate the look with neutral pink or coral lipstick in a creamy texture.

The Kohled Eyes

These kohled eyes have been a huge hit recently, at least with celebrities. It is a classic, evergreen look that can be quickly achieved and works very well with a variety of outfits. Keep your base and eyeshadow simple and as close to natural as possible. Fill your upper and lower lash lines with wholesome amounts of kohl and finish the eyes with generous coats of mascara. The idea is that your eyes should be the highlight. Complete the look with a light blush and a neutral lip for a balanced look.

The Bold Royalty

This look entails thick eyeliner, a bold red or maroon lip, and highlighters on the face’s high points. While this makeup exudes royalty and is perfect for festivities, one must strike a balance between eyes and lips. Opting for loud colours for eyeshadow with bold red lips is not a good idea and must be avoided

The Mane Point

For your hair, you can opt to leave it open with a centre parting and loose waves. Waves and curls look stunning with ethnic wear and add a lot of dimension to the look. You can also opt for a clean bun to add a touch of sophistication to your look. Or, experiment with braids and add a striking unique element to your look.
