The renowned Marc Antoni Artistic Team recently made a triumphant return to China at the World Hair Congress. The team captivated a record-breaking audience of 4,000 hairdressers at the Congress. In its eleventh consecutive year of participation, the team showcased an awe-inspiring display of cut, colour, and avant-garde styling. They set the stage on fire – both literally and figuratively!
GORGEOUS BACKDROP
Against a vibrant backdrop of fire and ice, the Marc Antoni Artistic Team presented a diverse array of models. Each creation epitomized the latest trends in British Hairdressing. A detailed demonstration session was conducted to unravel the techniques behind the striking looks.
The grand finale featured over 30 models adorned in Vivienne Westwood, eliciting a standing ovation from the captivated audience. Following the main stage spectacle, the team transitioned to the classroom, conducting a series of practical workshops over three days. These workshops allowed them to delve into the intricacies of the showcased looks. It also allowed a collaboration with the Mizi Oba and Marc Antoni Franchise Salon teams.
NEW BEGINNINGS
In a significant milestone, Marc Antoni opened its first franchise salon in Xiamen earlier this year. During this visit, the team dedicated time to refining the skills and techniques of the salon team. The move aligns with their broader plans to expand the Marc Antoni franchise in China. The trip culminated in the opening of a second salon, with several additional locations earmarked for future development.
Bruno Marc Giamattei, Artistic Director of Marc Antoni, expressed his joy at returning to China and witnessing the progress of the Xiamen salon team. He shared, “We were delighted to present a show of that magnitude and to have our own salons in Xiamen. The team excelled on every occasion throughout the trip, and we’re already looking forward to the opening of the next Marc Antoni franchise salon and the World Hair Congress 2024.”
Bruno Marc Giamattei was named the Ambassador to the Chinese World Congress for the next two years. He also received an award in recognition of this remarkable achievement. The trip not only showcased the team’s artistic prowess but also solidified Marc Antoni’s presence and commitment to shaping the future of hairdressing in China.
