Makeup is a form of self-expression, allowing individuals to showcase their creativity and personal style. As it helps in boosting an individual’s confidence, which then contributes to a positive attribute in a professional setting.
Let’s take a sneak peek into the step-by-step decoding of a subtle yet natural day-to-day work make-up look by Muskan Bader, Make-up Trainer, Naturals Beauty Academy.
Step1: Skin Preparation : It is the most important step of the make-up application. Skin preparation starts with an application of cleaner, toner and very importantly Primer. Always remember hydration is the key to a flawless base!
Also, applying a primer to create a smooth base layer helps the skin prepared for makeup and is a step that shouldn’t be missed.

Step 2: Brows and Eyes Make-up : This is the 2nd important step so that the cleaning of fallouts gets a little easier. Hence it is always better to do the brows and eyes first.

For a natural/daily work look we have used a monotone eye with as little shimmer as possible.
Tip – Do not forget to curl your lashes before you coat it with mascara.
Step 3: Base Make-up : Start by using colour correcting with a colour corrector. Also, using a light coverage foundation/tinted moisturiser or BB cream will even out your skin tone.

Tip – Do not forget to highlight using a lighter shade of concealer.
Step 4: Contour, Blush and Highlight : Apply Blush to the apples of your cheeks for a healthy flush. Use a contour, bronzer and highlighter to define and accentuate the facial features.

Tip – All of these should look blended and not as 3 separate entities but one.
Step 5: Setting Makeup : Set your makeup with a translucent powder to reduce shine, specially on the T Zones. Additionally, use a powder puff to set under eye as it makes the look very natural and airbrushed.

Step 6: Lips : Use a lip balm as a preparation for hydration of Lips. Always apply balm before lipstick . We have chosen a natural lip colour like a nude cum rosy shade for this look. Always use a lip liner for defining the lip shape. Additionally, use gloss for a fresh look!
