In another successful opening, Professional Beauty India set the stage and floor on fire in Mumbai with Day 1 offering all that’s trending in beauty, hair, skin, nails, and the entire gamut of the beauty and hairdressing industry.
With the visitor footfall completely taking over the red-carpeted exhibitor space, the Salon Management Conference was house-full with salon owners and managers engaged in intriguing business discussions.
Setting the perfect tone for the conference, Vikas Vij, Managing Director of Professional Beauty India, said in his welcome address, “Running a salon is no small feat, whether you operate a parlor in a small town or a chain across many metros. The challenges are similar in terms of running a business. Over the next two days, this conference will address various challenges, including finding and nurturing talent, transitioning from a hairdresser or therapist to a business owner and entrepreneur, connecting and engaging with a more digitally savvy customer base, scaling up, and exploring the pros and cons of franchising. We encourage attendees not only to listen to our expert panel but also to question them about their journey to success, the obstacles they had to overcome, and the advice they can offer, as every salon owner strives for success too.”
The Salon Management Conference witnessed insights from prominent figures in the salon industry, including Samir Srivastava, CEO of LOOKS Salon; Savio John Pereira, Owner of Savio John Pereira Salons; Kapil Sharma, Founder of Kapil’s Salon & Academy; Cherag Bambboat, Founder of Magical Makeovers; JJ Savani, Owner of JJ Savani Studio; Sneh Koticha, Director of Jean Claude Biguine India; and Vaijanti Bhalchandra, Co-Founder of YLG Salons, among several others.
Meanwhile, all the energy and enthusiasm were on display at the live demo stages, with one exclusively dedicated to beauty demonstrations and another for hair.
The beauty demo stage featured experts such as Dr Blossom Kochhar, Sangeeta Chauhan, Raman Chohan, and Avleen Bansal, while the hairdressers demo stage was graced by Vipul Chudasama, Sylvia Chen, Elton Steve Vessoaker, and other renowned names.
In addition, the exhibitors kept busy with their stalls flooded with visitors, with some brands offering on-the-spot demonstrations.
All in all, this edition of Day 1 spells a new success story in the making. The Professional Beauty Show on Day 1 proved to be nothing short of a perfect treat for the beauty and hairdressing industry, with day 2 promising to be even bigger and better.
