NYX Professional Makeup is entering its villain era! The brand has announced the launch of the “Who Stole Halloween?” campaign in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.
The SFX artistry-driven campaign features a list of reality TV villains we all love and hate — at the same time. These “baddies” include, DJ Pauly D of “Jersey Shore” as The Joker; Nene Leakes of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” as Poison Ivy; Christine Quinn of “Selling Sunset” as Catwoman; Cely Vasquez of “Love Island USA” as Freeze; Whitney Adebayo of “Love Island UK” as Freddy Krueger, and Tasia Hafenstein of “Love Island Australia” as Beetlejuice.
As NYX Professional Makeup suggests that someone has stolen Halloween this year, the brand needs your help! It is challenging all its viewers to follow along, solve the mystery, and find out “Who Stole Halloween?” Those who successfully find the thief have a chance to win a cash prize of US$ 10,000. The mystery will unfold through a reality TV-inspired series featuring the cast and the drama behind the scenes of NYX’s Halloween shoot.
Each episode will offer clues about the culprit, with fans encouraged to vote at nyxcosmetics.com/whostolehalloween. The episodes will be available on NYX’s social channels.
As part of the campaign, NYX has teamed up again with renowned SFX makeup artist Mimi Choi to create six unique character looks. The brand will also release step-by-step tutorials for makeup enthusiasts at all skill levels.
New Additions to SFX Product Line
To complement the campaign, NYX has expanded its SFX product line with a few new products. These are:
- SFX FACE & BODY PAINT PALETTES, which are creamy, smudge-resistant, and highly pigmented
- limited-edition BUTTERGLOSS METALLICS in “Ice” and “Blood” shades
- Easy-glide SFX PAINT & BODY STICKS in seven colours.
