My approach to barbering education emphasises a supportive, inclusive learning environment, fostering community and open communication. I provide hands-on training, focusing on skill development, professionalism, customer service, and industry trends. My dedication to high-quality education and personalised support has contributed to my nomination. Additionally, my focus on the growing market in India sets me apart in the international arena.

3. How do you think your educational initiatives have impacted the global barbering community, both locally and internationally?
My educational initiatives have made a significant impact locally and internationally. Locally, they have raised the standard of barbering, fostering a skilled workforce and a sense of community. Internationally, especially in India and the UAE, my initiatives have elevated the industry by sharing expertise, inspiring skill enhancement, and enhancing the profession’s reputation globally. Overall, they have positively influenced the barbering community, raising standards, promoting collaboration, and sparking innovation.
4. Can you share unique teaching methods or approaches you have used in barbering education to foster innovation?
To ensure relevance amidst the evolving barbering industry, I prioritise hands-on learning experiences. One method I employ is station rotations, exposing students to diverse techniques like clipper cuts and beard grooming. Technology integration is crucial, I utilise video conferencing tools for realistic practice. Additionally, project-based learning fosters creativity and problem-solving. These innovative approaches engage students and prepare them effectively for their careers.

Success in barbering education isn’t just about technical skills, it’s about students’ personal growth. My motivation stems from a passion for barbering and seeing students succeed.
