Schwarzkopf Professional’s Hair by Schwarzkopf Pro debut brought global artistry to Mumbai, unveiling the ‘Lived-In’ colour trend in collaboration with Sassoon Academy. Featuring Mira Kapoor as the showstopper, the show set a new benchmark in India’s salon landscape.
Hair by Schwarzkopf Pro, Schwarzkopf Professional’s landmark hair show, made its debut on June 16 at St. Regis, Mumbai. The event celebrated the brand’s 125 years of global hair expertise and 25 years of inspiring hairdressing excellence in India. It brought together innovation, artistry, and the finest in professional hairdressing. It also exemplified the brand’s commitment to performance, precision, and pushing the boundaries of hairdressing.
For the first time in India, Schwarzkopf Professional collaborated with the iconic Sassoon Academy. Hair legends Richard Ashforth, International Creative Director, and Matthew Carroll, Colour Director at Sassoon Academy, led a precision-driven segment. They brought world-class technique and inspiration to the Indian salon scene. The segment merged international standards with local vision.
Introducing the ‘Lived-In’ Colour Trend
At the heart of the event was the unveiling of Lived-In — Schwarzkopf’s biggest colour trend of the year. The colour trend is effortless, dimensional, and rooted in salon practicality. Perfect for modern clients, Lived-In offers modern tones, low-maintenance regrowth, seamless blending, and colour that evolves beautifully with time. It introduces a versatile palette of browns — Toffee, Mocha, and Lived in Biskoff — each suited to Indian skin tones and all hair textures. These versatile tones look flattering across various complexions and hair textures. They bring out softness, richness, and a play of natural light to Indian hair.
The brand’s Hair Artist Kollektiv showcased these tones through a series of bold, expressive looks that redefined contemporary browns. Schwarzkopf’s Hair Muse, Mira Kapoor, embodied the trend as the showstopper. Her signature Lived-In look was created by hairstylist Vaishakhi Haria.
Built on the trusted performance of Schwarzkopf’s IGORA portfolio, the Lived-In technique combines soft-root work, dimensional tones, and intuitive blending. It’s perfect for extending the time between salon visits without compromising on style or coverage.
The event was attended by leading salons, salon owners, and top artists. The attendees witnessed a defining moment in India’s hairdressing journey.
From the Hair Artist Kollektiv
Vaishakhi Haria – Meister, Hair Artist Kollektiv at Schwarzkopf Professional:
“The Lived-In trend is all about colour that feels personal and effortless. Think golden and chocolate browns that flatter Indian skin, created with easy yet impactful salon-friendly techniques for looks that grow out beautifully and suit every age.” “To me, the Lived-In trend is colour that grows with you, natural, low maintenance, yet full of style,” says Ryan D’Rozario – “Soft gold highlights over a mocha base create rich, warm dimension that flatters Indian skin and stays beautiful from day one to grow-out.”
Deepak Jalhan – Meister, Hair Artist Kollektiv at Schwarzkopf Professional:
“The Lived-In trend is about effortless dimension that grows out beautifully. I was inspired by the sunlit warmth of Indian landscapes. Using honeyed caramels and mochas with freehand highlights and root melts I created a seamless, low-maintenance blend that flatters deeper skin tones.”
