Celebrities setting a new beauty trend

Diwali is a time for celebration. The golden glow of lights is often reflected in the beauty trends of the season. Many famous personalities shared their pictures on social media, wishing their followers a very Happy Diwali. Gauri D. interprets the unmistakable beauty trends they set for the season.

The joyous Festival of Lights was reflected in the smiles all across social media. The bright colours and glittering jewels were the thing of attraction, just like every season. However, this season reflected something intimate and might have set a new beauty trend for the coming year.

GOLDEN GLOW AND BRIGHT SMILES

Most celebrities opted for nude make-up with a hint of blush to highlight their features. Nude makeup has been popular for some time now, but it received a golden twist this season. Actress Bhumi Pednekar posted a picture decked in a golden saree with the golden light illuminating her face. Her honey-red lips glinted in the light as her face was illuminated in the golden glow. Golden became the new colour of Diwali. Bhumi chose to wear her hair in a tight yet somewhat messy bun.

Similarly, Sara Ali Khan looked stunning in a similar nude make-up with honey lips and lightly blushed cheeks. The yellow lehenga added an extra glow to her golden glow this Diwali. Her wavy hair danced around her face, highlighting her road cheekbones.

Marathi actress Sonalee Kulkarni celebrated her Diwali in Dubai decked in a custom-made traditional peacock blue Paithani. She let her hair loose for the occasion and opted for nude make-up. Her pink lips bridged the gap between her outfit and make-up gracefully.

Model and actress, Abhirami Venkatachalam, winner of the Miss Tamil Nadu 2017 title also celebrated Diwali with a traditional outfit. She also wore her hair in a graceful bun complete with a flower garland. Her make-up also reflected a natural golden glow and a hint of rosy lips that complimented her attire perfectly. Traditional ornaments enhanced the golden glow as seen in her pictures.

Actress Sandeepa Dhar became a free setter and trend follower in a single frame. She set the trend with nude makeup, rosy cheeks and an unmistakable golden glow. Whereas, she followed the trend of messy buns this season. It complimented well with her multicoloured floral outfit.

Many celebrities set a standard this Diwali. Golden glow might very well be the next makeup trend to look out for!
