Institute of Hairdressers and Beauticians is launching its debut edition in Indore from 7th to 9th January 2024. With a vision to bridge the gap between national and international education, the IHB Global Forum brings together the world’s leading experts. The experts will be sharing their valuable insights and knowledge to bring a transformation in the way people view education in the beauty and hairdressing industry. The Aim of the IHB Global Forum
The IHB Global Forum brings its attendees knowledge-based and skill-enhancing workshops and seminars over three days. The forum aims to hold educational seminars across five broad categories – hairdressing, makeup, skincare, nails, and barbering.
International Beauty Trainer and the backbone of IHB Education in India, Unnati Singh explains, “The main objective of this global forum is to bridge the gap between international and national education. Our industry is full of skilful people, but education has been lacking so far. We are focusing on education so that skills can meet the required education and the results can be enhanced. Attaching education with the skill is very important as the modern client is very well aware. Therefore, as a makeup artist or hairdresser, one requires proper education to deliver the best.”
What the Forum Offers
IHB Global Forum will offer five educational seminars along with a Salon Management Forum discussing the trends in Beauty Education and Digitalisation. The event will conclude with the IHB Creative Extravaganza, a grand hair show.

First Seminar: Master Cuts, Colors, Curls, and Sets with Joakim Roos and Olivia Jonson.
Second Seminar: Transform Your Makeup, from Bridal to Creative and Ramp, with Dominique Roberts.
Third Seminar: Dive into the World of Barbering and Gents Styling with Paul Mac.
Fourth Seminar: Explore the Frontiers of Advanced Skin Care with Dr. Shanika Arsekularatne.
Fifth Seminar: Innovate Your Nail Care Techniques with Barbara Ujvari
Singh says, “There will be day-long, hands-on workshops. For three hours the global educators will demonstrate their techniques in different subjects. Post that the participants will perform and recreate whatever they learn. There will also be a panel discussion with the industry and celebrity educators. They will share insights on how the industry is evolving. Also, they’ll talk about the importance of education in the industry, and how one can their business.”
