After Ranveer Singh, Tamannaah Bhatia is the second Bollywood actor to invest in Shark Tank India judge Vineeta Singh’s Sugar Cosmetics.
It is raining Bollywood in the beauty and cosmetics industry. After Katrina Kaif’s Kay Beauty launch, Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Anomaly and Deepika Padukone’s 82°E, now Tamannaah Bhatia has invested in Shark Tank India judge Vineeta Singh’s Sugar Cosmetics. Tamannaah is the second celebrity investor of the beauty brand after Ranveer Singh. The recent Sugar Cosmetics ad also featured her alongside Ranveer.
Tamannaah comes from a business background as she hails from a diamond merchant family. She has also co-authored the book ‘Back to Roots: Celebrating Indian Wisdom and Wellness’ in 2021 with award-winning fitness expert Luke Coutinho. The 32-year-old also launched her jewellery brand Wite & Gold in 2015. Now with her recent investment in Sugar Cosmetics, she has added one more feather to her cap.
When asked about her inclination towards investing in Sugar Cosmetics, the ‘Bahubali’ actress said that her vision aligned with that of Vineeta’s, because of which she collaborated with the brand. Being an actor, Tamannaah understands the importance of make-up and was also keen on associating with a beauty brand that caters to all Indian skin types; and Sugar Cosmetics was exactly what she was looking to invest in.
Not to forget, Tamannaah is joining the league of desi and global actresses like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Deepika Padukone who have either launched their beauty and wellness brands or are associated with one.
